Chess64 ("the app") is a chess tactics training app developed by Daniel Parks. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you use Chess64, we may collect the following:
Your data is used exclusively to provide the Chess64 service: authenticating your account, syncing puzzle progress, calculating statistics, and personalizing your training experience.
Your data is stored on secured servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Personal identifiers are encrypted at rest. All data transmission between the app and our servers uses TLS encryption (HTTPS).
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.

Chess64 does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages but account creation requires Apple Sign-In, which is governed by Apple's age restrictions.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
